Terbo storms to fifth-place finish in Illini 100 at Farmer City
Tyler Erb took on a 40-car field at Farmer City Raceway over the weekend as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series hosted the annual Illini 100.
After a challenging start to the weekend, Erb fought his way to a 10th-place finish in Friday’s preliminary. He advanced from sixth to second in his B-Main before charging forward 10 positions in the 50-lap feature.
Erb found his stride late in Saturday’s $25,000-to-win Illini 100 finale, slicing through the field from deep. He gained 19 positions over the course of the 60-lap affair to bring home a strong fifth-place finish.
Erb is currently fifth in the latest World of Outlaws Late Model Series point standings.
