Tyler Erb notches three top-fives in Wild West Shootout
The final four rounds of the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout brought Tyler Erb and the Best Performance Motorsports team back to Central Arizona Raceway from Wednesday through Sunday.
Erb matched his Wednesday performance on Friday night, recording another fourth-place finish.
With an additional $5,000 added to Saturday’s winner’s purse, Erb crossed the line eighth in the 40-lap feature.
On Sunday, Erb powered his way into the $25,000-to-win Wild West Shootout finale by winning his heat race. He closed out the weekend with a fourth-place finish—his third of the week—and secured third place in the miniseries point standings.
