Erb's Dirt Track World Championship weekend cut short
Tyler Erb made the short 30-mile trip from the Best Performance Motorsports shop to Eldora Speedway over the weekend for the 45th annual Dirt Track World Championship.
After posting the eighth-fastest time in his 30-car qualifying group, Erb’s weekend came to an abrupt end when he was collected in an opening lap tangle during his heat race. The early exit dashed his hopes of contending for the $100,000 winner’s check in Saturday’s main event.
