Fourth-place finish in Senoia Raceway's Peach State Classic
Tyler Erb and the Best Performance Motorsports team traveled to Georgia over the weekend as Senoia Raceway hosted the FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota miniseries season finale.
The two-night program opened Friday with the Peach Bowl, where Erb secured his place in the feature by charging from fourth to second in his heat race. Running inside the top five during the main event, he was forced to rally late after contact dropped him back, ultimately finishing 12th at the checkered flag.
Erb rebounded strongly on Saturday. After posting the second-fastest qualifying time in his 22-car group, he backed it up with a heat race victory to earn a favorable starting spot for the $30,000-to-win Peach State Classic. In the 75-lap finale, Erb steered to a consistent a fourth-place finish. He trailed only Jonathan Davenport, Ryan Gustin, and Hudson O’Neal, while Ricky Thornton Jr. completed the top five.
