Tyler Erb posts 12th-place finish in Topless 100 at Batesville
Best Performance Motorsports and Tyler Erb returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Comp Camps Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.).
With 64 competitors entered for the event co-sanctioned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Erb squeezed into Friday’s preliminary feature with the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Starting the 30-lapper in 15th, Tyler retired with a lap remaining after bringing out a late caution.
Despite starting on the second row of his B-Main on Saturday, Erb raced his way into the $50,000-to-win Comp Cams Topless 100 with a flag-to-flag victory. Rolling off 18th, Tyler improved six positions in the 100-lap affair to register a 12th-place finish.
Tyler is currently 10th in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
