Top-10 finish in High Bank Heist prelim at Eagle Raceway
Best Performance Motorsports and driver Tyler Erb embarked on a four-race stretch that kicked off Tuesday with Round 4 of the FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota miniseries at Marshalltown Speedway.
Erb’s outing in the $20,000-to-win event was hindered by an early spin in the feature, relegating him to an 18th-place finish in the 50-lap main event.
Shifting focus to the inaugural High Bank Heist at Nebraska’s Eagle Raceway, Erb was unable to transfer into Thursday’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series preliminary feature. He rebounded on Friday with a third-place finish in his heat race and advanced four positions in the $10,000-to-win prelim to notch a solid seventh-place result.
On Saturday, Erb’s attempt to qualify for the $50,000-to-win High Bank Heist finale came up just short, with a fifth-place effort in his B-Main ending his weekend early.
