Pair of seventh-place finishes at Hagerstown and Port Royal
Looking to stay ahead of incoming weather, Tyler Erb and the Best Performance Motorsports team unloaded the No. 1 Late Model at Georgetown Speedway (DE) on Friday to open a three-race swing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
With 28 entries on the grounds for the third annual Melvin L. Joseph Memorial, Erb was an early retiree on lap 10 of the feature after getting spun around by another competitor.
For Saturday’s Conococheague 50 at Hagerstown (MD) Speedway, Tyler followed up a third-place finish in his heat with a seventh-place outing in the $25,000-to-win A-Main.
On Sunday, Erb mirrored the result at Port Royal (PA) Speedway, securing another seventh-place finish to close out the weekend.
