Erb advances to ninth in Brownstown's Indiana Icebreaker
New Wavery, Texas’ Tyler Erb returned to action over the weekend with a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events in Ohio and Indiana.
Making the short trip from his Best Performance Motorsports shop to Atomic Speedway (Alma, Ohio) on Friday, Erb lost ground in his heat, however he was able to recover with a third-to-first outing in his consolation race. Chasing a $15,000 preliminary payday in the feature, Tyler muscled forward four positions to finish 13th.
For Saturday’s 28th annual Indiana Icebreaker at Brownstown (IN) Speedway, Tyler squeezed into the $25,000-to-win weekend finale with another win in a B-Main. Charging from the ninth row in the A-Main, Erb passed nine cars in the 50-lapper to bring home a ninth-place finish.
