Tyler Erb finishes on podium in DIRTcar Nationals preliminary at Volusia
Monday night found Tyler Erb and the Best Performance Motorsports team in action at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Fla.) for the final stop of the 2025 Speedweeks.
After finishing 18th in Monday’s DIRTcar Nationals opener, Erb stormed into Tuesday’s $7,000-to-win A-Main with a third-to-first outing in his heat race. Tyler paced the opening 11 circuits before ultimately crossing the line in third in the 25-lapper. He joined Ricky Thornton Jr. and Bobby Pierce on the podium.
With the 61-car field divided into three groups on Wednesday, Tyler posted a sixth-place finish in his 25-lap preliminary feature.
Over the course of three World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series events from Thursday to Saturday, Erb posted finishes of 21st, 7th, and 16th, respectively.
